The following are examples of the AGM job responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a high level of understanding of daily operations and stay familiar with all staff, the property, menus, policies, procedures, and updates.
- Ensure alignment on operational goals and strategies.
- Maintain a positive working environment and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Train employees, attend manager meetings, and assist with Department of Health preparation.
- Address customer complaints or issues with a positive attitude.
- Ensure all staff comply with safe food handling procedures and supervise food preparation to guarantee adherence to health and hygiene standards.
- Review all location feedback and discuss insights with the GM and AGM during one-on-one meetings.
- Assist in staff development, including training evaluations, identifying coaching needs, and reviewing performance against goals.
- Assist with new hires, including resume review, interviews, and training scheduling.
- Audit and review bar inventory, employee checklists, side work, third-party menus, and location reviews.
- Support scheduling and onboarding for new hires, including reviewing resumes and participating in interviews.
- Fill in as interim GM when needed.
Requirements:
You should have a minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a manager in a fast-paced dining service restaurant, preferably in New York City.
Salary: Starting at $66,000.00 per year based on experience
