The following are examples of the AGM job responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Manage payroll, approve employee hours, and ensure compliance with HR forms and records.
- Oversee inventory management, order supplies, and maintain emergency and safety kits.
- Ensure all HR documentation is completed and monitor for compliance issues.
- Lead and participate in team meetings, set agendas, and manage internal communication.
- Conduct performance reviews, facilitate new hire introductions, and promote team development.
- Oversee operational tasks, including scheduling, task delegation, and maintenance follow-ups.
- Handle customer service for large parties, manage reservations, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Review and audit employee attendance and payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness regulations.
- Support a collaborative, communicative, and efficient team environment.
Requirements:
You should have a minimum of 2 year of proven experience as a AGM/GM in a fast-paced dining service restaurant, preferably in New York City.
